It has been a tough week with the passing of my grandmother Ruby on Sunday morning but there was no better way to honour her than to keep a great attitude, stay positive, and give it everything Ive got in pursuit of this incredible opportunity. A lot of people know about the athletic figures in my family but Ruby was a letter-woman at the university of Montana during a time when for a female to win a letter they had to participate in over FIVE varsity sports. I could go on and on about what she taught me, I couldnt mention her in this or else Id have completely flooded Helena with tears.
