It has been a very interesting and relaxing weekend for me... it started off with some cliff jumping which was pretty fun... then going downtown. Started as a typical night out and ended differently than I expected. A guy was close to getting arrested and obviously had some issues and started crying, he was claiming to be prior service, so I figured I would help him out. I pulled him away from the area and sat him down, apparently he had bad experiences as a Marine in Iraq and was clearly suffering from ptsd. After talking with him for over an hour he thanked me and mentioned that before we came along he was considering suicide that night. So continuing to help him calm down and breathe, eventually I got him to relax. All is well now. Then yesterday I went surfing for the first time and it was really awesome! Spent the past couple days chillin in the ocean at Pacific Beach. I have had a very relaxed weekend. Soon Im gonna go snorkeling and see about spear fishing. Having a great summer in California!
