It has been a very long night...Kayla had her formula changed two days ago and since has been extremely gassy, uncomfortable, gagging and throwing up with each feeding...yesterday I called and the nurse that works with her doc told me to put her on continuous feedings to see if it a volume issue or a formula issue so about 55 mls into starting her continuous feeding she started acting like she was going to throw up and and she was crying and seemed to be in pain...now she has been much more gassy with the new formula too so that probably explains the pain...but anyways Ii called the on call doc and she told me to put her back on the previous formula and call the dietician today and see what to do now....she has been awake and fussy off and on all night...gaggy and coughing and crying and seemingly in pain....so at 3:30 this morning I changed her trach and finally gave her tylenol and she has been asleep since...i waited so long for the tylenol because I dont want to over use it...so at some point this morning I have to call the doc and may have to take her back in to be seen...she also had contrast upper GI done 2 days too so maybe a delayed allergic reaction is on my mind too....almost time to eat again too and it worries me....no sleep...fussy baby....equals a very long day
