It has been an extremely stressful week being out of our home (and whenever we ventured home having to deal with the deafening sound of the fans that set my sensory system completely on overload) but still trying to maintain some normalcy to life with work for us, school and activities for the kids, child care for JF (thank you Marina Fox you are awesome), and caring for our pets (cats and fish stayed home, Edgar came to the hotel with us). Today we divide our family for this weekend and John will hopefully get to go home tomorrow, but he will go home to a house that is still leaves one bathroom nonfunctioning, holes in drywall, missing flooring, and insulation that needs to be replaced...but I am grateful that our insurance has/will be taking care of so much and although we have all been very short tempered that we took some time to play in the hotel pool together last night. Just trying to focus on the little things to help bring me back to center...anybody know of a reputable contractor in the Fredericksburg area?
