It has been one month since I came to the U.S. Things changed drastically, but Im happy to be and work here. People loves their job and highly weight work-life balance. They are kind, cheerful and open-minded. Foods are not as good in Japan but you can make fun of it. In Japan, I often feel being forced to behave or act in a particular standard way, but here you can be yourself. In Japan, it is a kind of virtue to give up your private to pursue your career but and here you can go home and enjoy your life. In Japan, everybody try to not to bother others but here everybody try to help others. In my sense, Japan is not a country where foreigners can live comfortably. It is a good attempt to find out fascinating aspect of Japan and making commercial for it, but it is much more important to find out obstacles for foreigners to live and work at Japan. These days I found somehow they focus more on the former approach, which doesnt make much sense to me. I believe, when something is really good, finally people will find it out. When it does not, then something is wrong. I dont believe much in the power of commercial. I know they are important, but you can never be truly successful without a truly cool stuff. Im good here so far, and I hope Ill be good here for years to come.
