It is 1:55 a.m. and all is well and slowly progressing. Jerika is actually dozing now that pain meds are on board and is a wee bit loopy. Funny thing is we are 2 doors down from where she was born - could not have orchestrated that any better. No induction was necessary - she was asked to come in since we are past due date and they were going to start the process but by the time we arrived it had already begun. See, I knew Katriana was waiting for the 18th, what a connection she and I will always have. Lucy is on her way from D.C. (we love that Aunt Lucy we do!) and will most likely be here in plenty of time to cheer to the finish. Aunt Kyra and Auntie Gianna are patiently waiting, okay Kyra not so much as she wants the computer. Great grammy is here and Opa is flying in first thing in a.m. We are all so excited to greet our latest arrival. Lights out in the waiting room for us so we might be able to get some rest too. Thank you to all of you offering support and good wishes - we are blessed indeed that we can share in virtually "real" time these days, we might be in similar circumstances as we were when Jerika was born but communication looks VERY different. Will update later this a.m. :-)
