It is Christmas eve and I am at home alone. Well almost alone. - TopicsExpress

It is Christmas eve and I am at home alone. Well almost alone. Buddy is asleep on his rug in the middle of the den. Dont feel sorry for me. I had the past two days at my daughters house in Charlotte. Virginia and her new baby Vera are the spirit of Christmas. Her husband Andrew, firefighter and national guardsman, decorated the house and even put lights on my Airstream. The house was beautiful and Vera was walking by holding on to furniture, toys, and my leg. Paisley the family miniture Shitzu was only a little jealous of the baby and more loving than usual. My youngest beautiful daughter is home from Honduras. She has grown up a lot but still just going with the flow like the teenager she was a few years ago. She enjoyed the baby like the rest of us but I can tell it will be a while before she puts an order in for one of her own. I gave them all some larger gifts, but I have made a tradition of buying the goofy gifts to open for Christmas. Elizabeth got a t shirt with those one eyed cartoon monsters and the word Amegos on the front. She likes those characters and speaks Spanish. Virginias t shirt was of the Wonder Woman variety. It fits her being a working mother wife. Also Vera her daughter has one too! For Andrew I was able to find a M and Ms t shirt for him that read Surrounded by Nuts. It was a good fit, considering he was in the midst of Brittinghams and destined to be with Hortons today! I do have sympathy for Andrew my mostly perfect son in law. He is a great guy! Anybody would be proud to have him in the family. Thanks for reading my mind! Have a great Holliday!
