It is Monday morning; John is having a kidney stone attack -sitting very, very still as he is very, very nauseous. We are discussing if we need/want to go to Hannaford this morning to get a few things - we dont really need to but might get a few dont need to cook foods. I am thankful that I felt well enough to sit in my chair or at the table yesterday and spend some time organizing. I actually spent about 3 hours deleting photo duplicates and then sorting photos into more specific folders. I also renamed my talks and came across the book that I had started writing a few years ago titled The Kids Are Gone But the Nest is Far From Empty. It is a great book, so far - maybe I can finish it this year. I finished scanning the box of photos from my sister so they can now be returned. I learned how to scan several documents into one PDF. So, I guess I have the skills to become more organized...this has to be the year. I am still thankful for those two talks that I listened to on Saturday, trying to ponder the messages and decide how to best implement them. I hope everyone is able to get prepared the best they can for this noreaster and is able to stay safe and warm. Oh, if you are looking for something uplifting to watch - the Oriental Trading episode of Undercover Boss is a good choice.
