It is Saturday morning and I am being a slug and drinking coffee, - TopicsExpress

It is Saturday morning and I am being a slug and drinking coffee, crying at what is on the Baltimore Suns front page and laughing at their comics. While reading some of my emails I came upon this quote. It is the truth. Speed never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, that is what kills you. by Unknown Todays high point will be a visit from son Robert and his Wife Lisa and my new grandson Derek David. Going to be a great day. Tomorrow back to the railroad with some more fall foliage specials. I will post some pictures for you to drool over. The second picture with the Rogers Locomotive works 2-4-2 (Called a Columbia Class) is from my trip to New Zealand. It is located south of Christchurch and is one of only two Rogers built locos under steam in the world. York 17 is a replica Rogers. This loco was one of 6,000 locomotives built by Rogers in the 1800s and was scrapped in 1938/9 and dumped into a river bank as fill. Removed in the 70s, it was rebuilt and put back into service. I was lucky enough to help clean it for a trip and ride in the cab. There are only two Rogers under steam in the world and both have the same history of scrapping and are located in New Zealand. Til then, Keep you boiler pressure up and your headlight on. Dont know what that means, but sounds good. :)
