It is Thanksgiving Day, my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary and Throwback Thursday. Today and every day I am thankful for my mom & dad who married 60 years ago today but started dating in 7th grade making this a 70th Anniversary of sorts! I am thankful they decided to have 5 children (my 4 best friends and me!). And they gave all they had to give - and more - for a great family life. They are still laughing and happy and nice to everyone they meet. Ive documented Dads challenging year, but I often forget to say how my mom has been by his side every second. He was in a rehab hospital for 6 months, and my mother was there every waking second. She is tireless. She speaks for him. She nurses him. She respects him. And more than anything she still looks for his wisdoms and advice. Here are some throwbacks! The 3rd shot was last week! And Happy Thanksgiving to all our Facebook friends!
