It is a blessed assurance to know that you are guided, from day to day, by an OMNIPOTENT and loving God. The lord does not promise that all the pastures will always be green, sometimes they are barren and sterile and desolate. He has also not promised that the waters will always be tranquil, sometimes the waves break turbulently over us and the sky above is covered with ominous storm clouds. But if we put our childlike and unconditional trust in Him, we may rest assured that He will guide us in oureveryday lives. We must stay close to the Shephered in order to be guided by Him. Often we experience difficult and incomprehensible times, sometimes even storm and stress. Regardless of how stormy and unpredictable the circumstances of our lives may be, our spirit will be quiet and peaceful if we allow Him to be our Governor.
