It is amazing that people often find ways to get out of jury duty, but if youre a breastfeeding mother whose infant will not take a bottle, then you are cited for contempt for bringing the baby with you. The fact that the child wont take a bottle is mentioned in another story. The options available for her include bringing someone else to take care of the baby (something most moms might have an issue finding) or pumping to feed the baby later (kind of difficult when they wont take a bottle). It is sad that the courts are so inflexible with mothers (This is also not the first case in this courtroom).
