It is amazing to me how willingly so many are to give up your rights and protections that so many fought and died to protect. Having the government spy on U.S. citizens and the press goes against everything the founding fathers meant for this country to be. More and more of our protections will be taken to the point where none will be left. It’s said that those that don’t learn for history are doomed to be repeated. It seems we are on that slippery slope and Americans, not having learned from history, will suffer for it and the original excuse for this abuse, terrorism, is now just that, an excuse. The terrorist win, they will have destroyed our way of life from within. And in the mean time people are more interested in whatever the topic of the day is on TV.
