It is colder than a witches titty here in the Northeast this morning! I guess I must be getting old, as Im already beginning to welcome the thoughts of Spring! HAPPY UPCOMING TURKEY DAY to all my TURKEY FRIENDS OUT THERE. Lets hope the bad weather they say we are in store for later this week goes out to sea before Wednesday and Thursday. Remember ONLY one more week of the normal firearm deer hunting season left. This is the time of the year when I always found the man of the household finally caught up with the kids and wives in his family by finally bagging a deer of his own. I was thought it was comical as to how many families, the kids out shot their moms and dads for the first week of the season, the wives followed in the second week and, Dad, finally caught up with them with a large buck on that final week. Another GREAT OLD MAINE TRADITION.. Loved it, every bit of it!
