It is illegal for Australian politicians to hold dual-citizenship. Tony Abbot has not renounced his British citizenship (he was born in England) and therefore cannot legally hold office unless he provides the relevant documentation proving that he is an Australian citizen. Freedom of information requests to the department have proven that these documents do not exist (see below). We the people demand that Abbot resign!
