It is incredible as through DJing at a heavy metal night as Duke Lavage I have re embraced metal and in the same attempts to find quality, content and dare I say music in Psy Trance. I have done the same with metal. I am only scratching the tip of the iceberg. Joe and I went to see Opeth last weekend. Thought we would give it a go. I really cannot recommend listening to their latest album Pale Communion. It is hard to think that this band started 25 years ago being serious death metal and seemed to have broken right out now and have made a contemporary progressive rock album which had dynamics and musical pyrotechnics but with the emotions of Radiohead. Check this track out and see what I mean. No gruff vocal. They can only get better. As long as it keeps flowing. Much more positive and big sounding than Crippled Black Phoenix who as some of you know I have a bit of a soft spot for.
