It is insane to just let people come here without rational and effective measures. The government has no right to risk the lives and fortunes of 315 milllion people here in the US. By letting them in, we risk not just our own country, but every human being in North and South America. Are we prepared to take up responsibility for that? What is the US doing to coordinate with all other North and South American nations? I also DO NOT believe CDCs assurances. Of course the government is going to try and allay our rightful concerns. I am for an immediate quarrentine of 40 days from the day anyone leaves Africa...and not allowing any person that is there to come here without a 40 day isolation in quarrentine. If a person wants to undertake the risk to go there...fine...but they have to go into 40 day quarrentine before they come back here again. No exceptions. And they pay all costs for their quarrentine. US Health officials dont have the final say...it is the White House that does. We cannot trust them to say they know what they are doing...this disease is too dangerous for that one. Sooner or later, a big mistake will be made. The only way is to make each person demonstrate they are not infected. Thus, quarrentine is what we need to do.
