It is my opinion that the upcoming generations will be very sad, indeed. It seems that all they care about is video games. Some might care about appearances (clothing - which of course, doesnt fit). There are those who will care about who they know and perhaps who knows them. All they care about are superficial things. Name brands, who has the latest electronics and games. Often to the exclusion of all else. Pay bills? Are you serious? Set goals (other than those mentioned above) for their life and try to achieve these goals. Care more about education than who will be wearing what and sitting where. Did you know that many people who somehow manage to graduate from high school arent academically anywhere near where they should be? ...and arent able to do simple math or spell simple words OR put together a simple sentence? So, I ask you - where does that leave them when they need to fill out an actual job application? They always want to take the easy road. Heaven forbid something be difficult for them (poor babies)... Not only do their relationships suffer, THEY suffer too. They are just so oblivious and focused on themselves that they dont even notice. So I will stand firm on my opinion that we as a country are screwed unless some drastic changes start taking place. (Just look at what is going on in DC already!)
