It is not Yoga anymore, it is not even Christian Yoga anymore - it is an unholy mess, but let us call it Wholyfit !! As a former yoga teacher, and also a former Christian yoga teacher, I now reject yoga as well as the concept of Christian yoga. I never participated in yoga practices and didn’t teach any of the philosophies; I didn’t repeat mantras nor hum “Ohm.” My yoga teacher said that many of his teachers were Christians, but when he passed out prayer cards in Sanskrit, asking all the class participants to “give our souls completely to Shiva,” I quit and never went back. Laura Monica chose to do the most convenient thing - kicked the dharmic references out of Yoga! Our stance in WholyFit is that yoga and Christianity does not mix…at all. Before we continue it’s good to clarify that the bible teaches not to judge others because we cannot often see the sin in our own lives, This ministry does not accuse anyone. Everyone has sins we are unaware of and the Lord knows if they are of larger consequence than those we call someone else out on. Evil is born out of judgement that does not conform to God’s Word. - but we keep the word out of Yoga! At yoga certification, we were directed to give our souls “completely to Shiva.” I renounced yoga and repented. I advise any sister or brother in Christ to avoid yoga at all cost. Since there are no other “gods” except for God, Shiva and all other sources of supernatural power come from demons. Wow! So the sin in Christianity is to even recognize any faith that a non-Christian tends to have, leave alone respect - no, leave alone tolerate - them! And yes, we do talk about spirituality in our religious discourses! For spiritual safety I recommend that: 1. Christians have nothing to do with the worship of idols. 2. Christians have nothing to do with those who worship idols. This entire Yogic mutation is getting unfit over time! Let me make it absolutely clear I have nothing against Christians or Christianity (or any other practice that falls in this category) - I simply reciprocate their tolerance (or respect, if you say so!) towards the Hindu Dharma. #Yoga #InternationalYogaDay
