It is not just about Arvind Kejriwal being the CM of Delhi, it is about giving democracy a chance. The people of Delhi will decide, if given a chance (which for some inexplicable reason is being denied them) if AAP deserves another attempt at governance. By all means they should get a crack at that. The short tenure of the party at the helm of affairs in Delhi was a fast-paced, unconventional shot at governance, and there were many beneficiaries from the poorer sections of society. The resignation was based on principle, and also on account of a political strategy to show up the double faced nature of the Congress and BJP when it comes to tackling corruption. Honesty and integrity will never go out of fashion, and will always be respected. Only vested interests that believe in criminal or corrupt politics would want AAP to die a natural death. India has yet to see the kind of clean and citizen centric governance found in smaller countries like Singapore, Denmark, Sweden, New Zealand, etc. Delhi would be a great place for AAP to show Indians what it means to govern and serve the law-abiding public. We live in a democracy, and political comebacks are routine, if the public so desires. :)
