It is official: 100 Senators voted to give the Israeli government carte blanche, meaning unlimited discretionary power to act, that is unrestricted authority, to go ahead with its invasion and annihilation of Gaza. This includes Bernie Sanders of Vermont, someone I always voted for when I lived there, and who I thought was the voice in the senate with a sense of humanity, and saying and doing what was right. Well, thats over. It was nice while it lasted Bernie. Leahys vote came as no surprise as he has always been a sort of wolf inside of sheep fuzz. But now Bernie really has become a sheep. I think the idea of becoming a Democrat and getting in the good graces of the mainstream powers for a presidential run in 2016 has gone to his head. Bye Bernie.
