It is our great pleasure to share with you the Spring Top Of the South Permaculture Convergence. Date: THIS WEEKEND Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th of October Time: From 5pm Friday through to 3pm Sunday Venue: Riverside Community Hall, 289 Main Road, Lower Moutere NO registration required just turnip and dance to the beets…;-) Cost: $10 per person per day or $30 per person for the weekend (Fri-Sun) For those wishing to stay overnight, marae style accommodation is available at Riverside for an additional $10 per person per night, bring your own sleeping bag/duvet. What to Bring: All food is pot luck. Please bring either prepared dishes to share or simple ingredients/ locally produced vegetables that can be prepared in the kitchen for the time you are planning to stay. We will keep it simple and cooking and tidy-up is communal so no-one feels they need to do all the work and miss out on sessions. Teas, instant coffee and milk will be available and Riverside Cafe will be open for those needing a real caffeine fix. SEED SWAP - please bring any surplus seeds, seedlings or plants to share Many of the sessions will be open space (as there are often many options and not enough time) so if you have some passion you would like to share please bring what you need to demonstrate, share, pass-on, teach and learn with. We will have a projector, wipeboards, markers and big paper. Musical instruments and noise makers, movies and fun tuff to play with… Programme: We welcome suggestions of what you would like to see included in the weekend and offers for presentations or discussions. The planning will be on-going by the group when we meet on Friday and each morning. We are blessed to have such a strong community that holds a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience- heads and hearts.
