It is said that whenever you feel arrogant go and stand next to a mountain. If that humbles you, think of the awesomeness of the power of the one who created the mountain and everything else in this vast creation. Then reflect on the fact that the one who has created all that we see or could conceive of has placed it under His dominion. How vast is His power and authority? In that vast dominion, who are we in reality? How much space do we occupy? How much time does our life in this world involve compared to the time that preceded us and the time that remains of the eternity that comes after our physical demise?
