It is so easy to crave for more than you have; a common complaint of many. but I believe sometimes you have to look closely at what is in front of you and take stock of what you already have. True the grass may seem greener in the neighbours yard and you envy this. However have you stopped to watch how well they tend what it is they have? The nurturing and time spent? We are quick to complain, but slow in being grateful; you may not have the money you desire of the fast car or big house, but how much of that is truly important? What you dont see is what goes on behind closed doors, you dont hear the prayers of another. They may have all you desire, but not the one thing they too yearn for. This could be love of the truest form, it could be a child that is longed for but not an option available to them; so next time you look on with envy, really see what you have an appreciate that you have all you need, while others have all they want, it is true they lack what their heart needs. Greed is an unattractive trait, it brings forth undesirable characteristics in a person. Just give thanks every day that your life is filled with more than need and less than want.
