It is so heartwarming to see such caring and concern from you all. As we wait like the rest of you it is comforting to know that so many are hoping as much as we are that they are our boys. We look at these picture and we are overcome with the need to reach out and hold them and reassure them. Now the only question is will we be reaching out and reassuring Marley and Forest or their look alikes. Some have asked couldnt you do a video chat with them or something yes we probably could have but we were pressed with time to get this moving. These dogs time was up at the clinic and the chance of them being put up for adoption was slim at best and even if they were after the 5 day hold was up then what, we all knew what the most likely outcome would be, the south has an even bigger stray/unwanted dog situation than we have here, and the women there who cared for them were scared for their future, I could tell by their voices that this line of work can bring such sadness as well as joy. We need to see them in person and we need to help them. how could I possible have asked for 21 months for people to help any dogs they saw who could be Marley N Forest then not help these 2 dogs. I would never risk the lives of MnF with indecision or slowness and this pair, mine or not now have a brighter future because of us and because of all the people who are helping us help them TY TY TY I can never say TY enough. I have never been so impressed and so proud of so many women as I have since MnF went missing and especially in the last 2 days. You may not hear from us again until we have these dogs in hand sometime on Saturday :) Bless you all.
