It is so sad when I see my friends unreasonably abscond from church or even attach little value to the bible in the pretext that it is a forgery and a concoction of myths and superstitions. I understand the origin of the bible has become a contentious debate and a basis for its falsehood and unholiness as fomented by many naïve and biased scholars and new age theologians. Yes the compilation of the bible was more politically motivated than probably spiritual, to save a fragile roman empire that was on the brink of collapse due to the localized and sporadic disunity in religion and administration,yes the atmosphere under which the meeting convened was not entirely Godly as some leaders had to be paid by the emperor to participate and yes some books were omitted based on the directives of the same and many other non Abrahamic religions and beliefs surfaced in this sitting as well. Now,accept we live in a multi religious society(over 20 major ones) today ranging from Christianity,Islam,Secular/Irreligious/Agnostic/Atheist,Hinduism, Chinese traditional religion, Buddhism, Primal indigenous, African traditional and diasporic, Sikhism, Spiritism, Judaism, Baháí Faith, Jainism Shinto ,Neopaganism , Unitarian Universalism, Rastafari movement with each denomination altruistically fighting to keep afloat prompting rather nonsensical exchanges and attacks as a remedy to protect their niches en probably surge their number of converts. For those who have fallen in the deceit emanating from crafty conclusions drawn by the above sects ,whether ignorantly or were theologically coerced to swallow, I hope the views below will be a stimulus for a new dimension or contemplation. Now the truth is, the bible being compiled by unholy people with does not negate the authenticity of the original writer, even if satan did it himself it doesn’t demonize Paul’s gospel or John or even Moses in anyway,especially with the recent proof of the consistency in the message in the Isaiah in the bible en a recently dug scroll. Secondly, because certain books were omitted doesn’t mean the ones in the Bible are wrong albeit some information from the missing books will probably be missed. So the information contained is still God ordained and more so the most important message of salvation that is key was divinely kept present so the irony of the missing books should be put to rest. Finally, I warn you that there is a new doctrine being inculcated in us by scholars and science,where knowledge of God is based on reason on the laws,designs found in nature other than faith. This is a new war on the revealed Abrahamic religions and the bible condemns it as self-righteousness in the new testament en a violation of the second commandment in the old testament. We have finite wisdom incomparable to the Almighty so refrain from excessive reasoning with God and live by Faith…(I welcome any queries regarding the bible)
