It is trite law that the State President has no powers to nullify - TopicsExpress

It is trite law that the State President has no powers to nullify election results. MEC should be allowed to carry out its duties independently. If there is any credible evidence that there are any irregularities that have substantially affected the results of the elections, then it is for MEC or the High Court to nullify elections. All presidents are interested parties in general elections. Hence the law allocating nullifying powers in an independent body, MEC and the Courts. Let us respect the Constitution.
