It is true that written language can use a good editor. I am notorious for writing in a way that needs a good editor. It is not the over indulgence in the explaining that is the problem with the way I write. It is the deliberate way that I choose to be the opposite of a slogan writing guru. You get more from the written expansion of of ethical and spiritual concept than you do from reading a slogan. People should not be afraid of expanding on and improving what some eminence has said even if it comes out as verbose as the way I write, you will still get more out of it from expounding on it your own terms from your own experience than you do from simply reading it. I hope you agree that it would be better for your kids to expand and study how the slogans apply to their lives rather than simply liking them. And it would be better for them to get in to the practice of doing this on paper and then sharing it with you. Just showing you how it is.
