It is widely believed that the Williams Co...the company that is pressing hard in the St Rose/Fredericktown area WILL use EMINENT DOMAIN to legally STEAL your property even though they are a PRIVATE-FOR PROFIT company. The governor REFUSES to discuss the eminent domain issue in the upcoming special session of congress. The Williams company aims to have the right of ways worked out by SEPTEMBER of this year. It will be too late in January for Ky legislaters to take up the matter in the regular session. I urge ALL people in the entire county to call the Governors office and every other office...Mike Harmon and Jimmy Higdon. We MUST let them know we are UNITED and will defend our property and our NEIGHBORS property. Our rivers and streams, soil, and air WOULD be at risk in the case of leaks and explosions. Believe me...the Williams company is VERY familiar with leaks and explosions. They are NOT a reputable company. If one person agrees to the pipeline crossing their property, and it leaks onto a neighbors property, you could not sue the Williams company. So you would have to sue your neighbor for the cleanup (which there is no such thing as a REAL cleanup) and possible endangerment to health. And we worried about cigarette smoke hurting our neighbor?
