It is with VERY deep regret that I have to announce the failure of my External hard drive. For the past 2 weeks my external hard drive has been at a data recovery center trying to recover ALL of my photos and data since 2010! All family pictures, all Briella’s newborn, our wedding (we have on CD), ALL fires, portraits, weddings. The night I was making Amber’s video my hard drive stopped working. I gave it to Tom and a local computer shop and they said it has to go to a data recovery center. Sent it off to data recovery and last night I was told they are not sure they can recover anything. It was going to cost me $1,700!! Lesson learned to have doubles if not triples of external hard drives. For everyone that don’t know… You hard drive might be under warranty but all data on them are not covered under it. As it makes me VERY Sick even typing this! I lost close to I am guessing 60,000 pictures! I would like to apologize to everyone for this situation. Everything that was lost everyone has a copy of except me with fires. All I can do now is move forward starting with everything since August! Thanks for the understanding and remember make doubles if not triples of ALL your data on an external hard drive!! Thanks Kirk!
