It is with a heavy heart that I post of the death of Tiffany Fontzs fiancé, Cleo PurpleCity Cleo “ Matthews. Cleo was killed while crossing Russell Street in Baltimore City early on Wednesday morning. While we may have had our disagreements over the past nine years, I know that Cleo was Tiffanys best friend and truly, the love of her life. Two beautiful Daddys Girls lost their buddy today. To be 5 and 6 years old and told of this terrible event is more than I can bear. My heart aches for the loss each of them feels and the pain that will live on for a long time. As a mother, it kills me to see my daughter in such pain with no way for me to make it better. To know that she had to do the hardest thing in her life by telling Amayah and Aaliyah proves to me that she is an incredibly strong woman who will learn to live with a new normal, and raise her daughters with the same strength. Funeral plans have not been finalized at this time. Please take a moment to say a prayer for my daughter and her family. Thanks to each of you who reached out to me today. I apologize if I didnt respond to your calls or text messages and hope you understand that my first priority is the well-being of my family. Thanks also to the amazingly talented staff at Shock Trauma for their valiant efforts and for the compassion shown to our family.
