It is with a very heavy heart that I share the news of Genes Dads passing away on Sunday, October 5. John Burke was one of the finest men anyone could ever meet. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather. His faith and positive outlook are what we should always strive to attain. John was like a Dad to me, especially after my own father passed away 20 years ago. I feel very fortunate to have married into the Burke family. We have all been blessed to have had Grandpa Burke in our lives. We will miss you so much. And I will be reminded of you every time Gene or one of the kids says something witty (at least daily) - they were lucky to inherit your sense of humor. I love you, Dad.
