It is with great pride and respect for our kids that I announce straight 1s from our contest today. These students are in football, fall basketball, cheerleading, ag events, church events, cross country, stock showing, fall softball----just in September and October!!!! Many are at school by 6:30 AM and dont get home until 9:00 PM three to four nights a week! What these children do is beyond us. Matt Knight, Trisha Burrell, Cheri Bufe Liess and I are humbled to be called your directors, your teachers. We have enjoyed all of the work with you. Parents, you have phenomenal young men and women. Thank you for sharing them with us. Now time to slow down and relax. We only have to prepare for honor band, all region, chase our AMAZING Antelope Football team around the state, and start gearing up for solo and ensemble amidst pep rally, Veterans Day program, and Christmas concert preparation. Glad we get to rest! :-) Really love being involved with Abernathy kids and this community is AWESOME!!!!!
