It is with great regret that we are moved to make this post. As of 10pm yesterday our landlord felt that they could no longer retain our business as a tenant. We had been at odds with our landlord for some time – having seen no further tenants enter the facility during our tenure and so none of the anticipated increase in foot fall. Added to unsustainable rental and service charges which we had attempted on many occasions to address. However a contract is a contract and in keeping with the letter of this the landlord has moved to eject us from the facility. We wish them well with the future of PlaySport. At this time our focus is on our staff and our customers. We will have further clarification over the next few weeks and months for this. We are fully aware that this action has resulted in many disappointed parents and children. And although we can do nothing to host any further parties at this time- we will do all that is in our power to provide a refund. Once we have more information on the way this process will work we will provide an update here. Both Keith and myself have put our heart, soul and life savings into EKPark and HappyDays. We tried to provide the very best facility for our customer and both feel that we did everything that was in our power to avoid these recent events. We would like to thank all our loyal customers for their custom over the last few years and our fantastic team of staff who helped provide many many happy memories for all our customers both young and old. Please bear with us over the next few weeks and months while we sort out addressing our existing debts and winding up the company – an experience nobody ever wanted to happen. Keith and Dougie.
