It is with great regret that we inform you that The Mega Twilight Finale Race is cancelled. Word from the Track Curator is that with rain on-site and the likelihood of more to come, it is going to be impractical to run the race meeting scheduled for tomorrow. Wed have to collect & set-up the light towers in pretty wet conditions (likely on a boggy infield) and hope that things turned around pretty darn quickly. Obviously it was also a consideration that we have a number of families who travel distance to be here, so the call has been made. It does bring our season to a damp end, but that is always the risk when running race meetings so late in the race year. It is planned to reschedule the race, perhaps as a season opener for the 2014/2015 season. Please stay tuned as we do have a couple of projects, some maintenance & other works. So, we will schedule working bees during the off-season and we will look for hands to help and make a day of it. Thank you for your understanding today and your participation at RTQMR in Season 2013/2014. We look forward to the bigger and better things that will come.
