It is with great sadness that we confirm the passing of Christopher Arzentovic, a Swedish born Chaser who plied his trade as one of the key players at Puddlemere United. A very emotional team Captain and Keeper and a veteran of the Third Great Wizarding War, Oliver Wood informed the Daily Prophet that the funeral date will be announced within a day. Christopher Arzentovic, the holder of many goal scoring records as a very accomplished Chaser was hit on the head by a streaking Bludger and although Healers were present to provide aid immediately they couldnt prevent the inevitable. A great player, a loving husband and an inspirational father. Christopher Arzentovics absence will be a void that can never be filled. But this incident also brings up the age old debate over the safety of using Bludgers in the sport. Here are some responses weve had from people weve contacted over the past few hours since the incident took place. It is a ridiculous notion. Bludgers have been a part of this game for centuries now. Might as well run on the ground like mindless fools because broomsticks are dangerous too. - Aaron Pinkman from the United States, Head of the Anti-Performance Enhancing Potions Committee As a former professional and a seeker I must say I do agree with this. I cant remember how many times Ive been at the Hospitals or Medical Wings passed out because of Bludgers. Just because something was popular during the Barbaric old age doesnt mean we should follow that tradition. - Viktor Krum, Former Bulgarian National Squad Captain and Seeker. Well I have to sympathize with the anti-Bludger movement. When I was 12 I used to play for Gryffindor and this bludger once not only broke my arm but I spent the whole night recovering while growing bones. No wait... that was because of an irresponsible teacher. Maybe you should ask my wifes views on this. She used to play professionally. -Harry Potter, former child prodigy. Well as a mother of a son who is working hard to be a professional Quidditch player and a daughter who plays for Gryffindor I must say I always live in fear of seeing them get hit in a dangerous way. So yes... I have to say Im totally against Bludgers. - Ginny Potter, former Hollyhead Harpiesstar and Senior Reporter at the Daily Prophet. F*** these pansies. I say keep the f***ing Bludgers in the game. I say we dont have enough Bludgers in the game. Bunch of pansies. F*** this sh** and f*** your face and f*** your opinion you slimy glasses wearing Harry Potter looking mother f***er. Go f*** yourself in the a** you fart faced monkey brain -Gregory Goyle, former Beater for Slytherin and Pride of Portree. If you have any views regarding the Bludger debate please post below. ~Padfoot the fart faced monkey brain reporter
