It is with heavy heart and wild enthusiasm that I announce that I will be transferring from the Trumbull Campus to the Kent Campus effective fall semester, 2014. But, no goodbyes for me, yet. I will serve the Trumbull Campus as an advisor for the 2014-15 academic year, will serve as director for Steel Magnolias and as Artistic Director for Summer Stock 2015. By then, a replacement should be on board. And then I will say goodbye. I love my Trumbull Campus and all the people I have met in the past 21 years. You have been my extended family. But, for both me and Kent Trumbull Theatre it is time for a change. My new position will be focused on Theatre and Social Change, Theatre History, and LGBT Theatre. It is an amazing opportunity. I started in this position as a young, naïve, energetic, upstart. Kent Trumbull Theatre will find someone like that to carry you forward for another generation. Please commit to staying with us during the transition. Jim Canacci will be teaching. Tony Kovacic will be tech-directing. And I will still be around to call you and bring you back!!
