It is with mingled sadness and anticipation for the next chapter in our lives that we announce our retirement as innkeepers. We closed the High Mountain Lodge the beginning of October, and we have been slowly moving to be near our son, his wife, and our new granddaughter. As we look back on the 5+ years we operated the High Mountain Lodge, we cant begin to express the joy we have experienced welcoming so many people from so many walks of life to the Lodge. We are grateful for our many guests who have become our friends, and we hope you will stay in touch. We will continue to maintain theinnkeeper (at) highmountainlodge (dot) com email address for the forseable future. We will also keep the website active at least into 2015. At this point, we dont know what will be happening with the Lodge. It is doubtful it will be open this winter of 2014-2015.
