It is with mixed emotions we inform you that we are leaving Kepner Middle School at the end of the 2013 – 2014 school year. Ms. Arriaga and I have both accepted jobs at West Leadership Academy in Denver Public Schools. We talked with our students today and gave them a letter to give to their families. We love working with all of the families and students on the Westside of Denver! We both feel very blessed to have been able to teach and travel with the families and children in the neighborhood since our time at Munroe Elementary in the late 1980s. Thank you for all of your support through the years. We remain committed to the children and the families on the Westside of Denver. Our travel program moves with us to West Leadership Academy. We are not sure how it will look at a new school; however, the principal is committed to providing educational travel to the students of West Leadership Academy.
