It just so happened that the APOD site happened to post a deep image of the famous area of sky, currently blinded by the Sun, near which Comet ISON met its demise a couple of days ago. At the left of the image is red Antares, below it, to its west in the sky is the famous and nearby globular cluster M4 and to the right on yhr image (north) you can see the stunning triple star Rho Oph. Note how busy the region is with nebulae of all kinds, and there is even a second globular, about teice as far as M4, in the scene which covers a little more than 5 degrees of arc in the sky.
