It makes me quite sad to announce that from 2015 onwards I will from now on be a one man band. It was my brothers decision to leave Specimen A for his own reasons, but I feel its time to share this information as I need some closure on 2014 and want to start 2015 fresh. Ive always been the leader of the group and taken the weight of the act with its music and performance, but Ive always loved making music with my brother and sharing the experience when possible. Making this information public is the only real way I think I can come to terms with that and move on. So from here on in, it will just be me carrying the flag for Specimen A alone. Id like to just thank my brother for all that we have shared over the years within the group. This is without a doubt the most difficult post Ive ever had to write. 2015 will mark the start of a new era for Specimen A as I will be launching a label for my music and I will also be moving towards a solo live show by the summer. I still have lots I want to do and achieve in music so for me its far from over, and Ive never been able to see a point where I wouldnt want to make and perform music. What that has been and will be is forever changing. I was considering starting a new name for a solo project but now I am solo anyway, I see little point, time and fate seems to have made that happen for me. I always said that there wouldnt be a Specimen A without my brother. So this feels like quite a hard thing for me to acknowledge but it is what it is. Seems like the right moment to announce it. So can everyone please show their appreciation for Mo, he will be missed dearly by me. Not only because hes my bro, but for the input he has had on the sound of Specimen A over the years. Thank you bro.
