It may be weeks before Australians get their loved ones that perished in the MH17 disaster repatriated back to Australia. This is due to the crash site deep in pro-Russian rebel territory in east Ukraine. The rebels have been difficult to deal with; having already let some authorities through only to tell them to go after 75 minutes. Some of the rebels are said to be intoxicated. Mr Abbott is demanding the rebels to create a safe corridor for authorities to access so they can investigate - also telling Putin to control the rebels even if a cease fire to be implemented. Russia is stirring up trouble says Mr Abbott. The surface to air missile [ SAM] is believed to be the one that shot the plane down - its sophisticated equipment and needs a lot of training to be uses and the pro-Russian separatist are believed to be trained by Russian military.
