It may only be Thursday, but are you thinking of the weekend and Shabbat already!? We are at Congregation Bnai Israel, Toms River, NJ. Friday Night Shabbat Services will be led by our USYers starting at 7:30 with a special guest speaker Shoshana Gibbor who is the Birthright and Israel Engagement Coordinator at MIT and Wellesley College Hillels. Her topic will be Boycotting Israel on College Campuses and the issue of Israel Apartheid Week and how that plays into the BDS Campaigns to delegitimize Israel on campus and the spread of anti-Israel information to the general student body. Shabbat Morning Services will start at 9am and will feature an Explanatory Service providing the answers to the question of Why we pray, Why we say specific prayers and How to pray?
