It never ceases to amaze me how the Lord knows exactly what I need when I need it! I think about my sister, Terri, every day, but every now and then, I have a day when I cant get her off my mind. Today was one of those days. I woke up this morning, and her picture is on my dresser - it was literally the first thing I laid my eyes on. As I was getting ready for work, I was using a powder brush she gave me when I was 18 (yes, I still have it:) When I was on my way to my office, this little red Honda Civic cut me off (OK - in Atlanta thats normal, in Foley, AL, it causes much stress!) and my mind immediately went to what a HORRIBLE driver Terri was - she used to cut EVERYONE off - whether she was in Atlanta or visiting us in Foley. (Anyone who ever rode with her knows exactly what I mean:) So, long story short, Ill admit that I got a little (a lot) ticked off at the Lord for taking her way too soon. I was actually fussing at Him as I was driving - seriously, I was. Then all of a sudden, He spoke to me so clearly it was almost audible. I felt Him say, At least you know shes here with Me... I began to thank Him for saving her life instead of fussing at Him for taking her. As much as I wanted her to stay here with us, He wanted her so much more!!! What an honor!! As soon as my thinking got straight, the Lord comforted me with this song....It was an amazing day with Him. He showed me that He is always concerned when Im hurting - and fussing at Him:)
