It really gets old to continually be discounted for something you have no control over. Your age. Its been something Ive repeatedly dealt with for over 2 years, despite demonstrating my ability to lead and get results for the people who elected me. Some people always attack my age. Our life experiences give us wisdom, not a number. Some people never mature. Im thankful for the people who believe in me, and those who dont. Both motivate me daily. I consider my youth one of my greatest assets. And Im proud of the work Ive been able to help accomplish in Gardendale and in other roles. Its been a bad few days, but Im blessed. Well keep moving forward. Theres a lot of work that remains to be done.
