It recently came out that many of the worst horror stories of the affordable care act came from people who refused to use the program as it was designed on principle. Many testimonials in commercials are dramatized and scripted fiction. Much of the rest of the civilized world has universal health care for years without spiraling into debauchery and depravity or breaking their banks. (If their banks are broken, its probably for other reasons). Im currently working under the belief that opposition to the affordable care act doesnt stem so much from the honest belief its bad for America or its people, but rather the sour grapes that the other side didnt think of it first. Except they did when you consider it was modeled after Mitt Romneys plan in Massachusetts. Maybe theyre just upset they didnt think to implement it on a national level first.
