It seems atheists, being one myself, can really appreciate this. While we do not have the emotional response this man has toward god, we do have it towards those who would profess doing gods work while committing the most immoral and abominable acts. Christians and other religions, its not god that makes us angry, we dont believe in any god, it is YOU. When you oppress, kill, and excuse evil action because it is done in the name of a god that cannot be proven to exist, this is what we call evil. When you read your bible and see god commit prolicide and genocide, or coerce genocide, filicide, matricide, hereticide, infanticide, femicide, and many other evils and call them good simply because your god is doing it... it makes us question your moral compass, your ability to even know right from wrong. And you wonder why we call you crazy. Its not for a deistic perspective or even a theistic one, its because in your fanatical monotheism, youve abandon reason for madness.
