It seems like two things are for certain in Pennsylvania: - TopicsExpress

It seems like two things are for certain in Pennsylvania: continued snow and increased property taxes. We may not be able to change the weather, but we can advocate for real property tax reform. If passed, Senate Bill 76 would eliminate school property taxes in Pennsylvania, which makes up the vast majority of the property taxes the average homeowner pays. Surveys show that Pennsylvanians want to see this bill passed. However, decades of inaction in Harrisburg have caused property taxes to increase well beyond the rate of inflation. We need your support to pass this bill. Over the past few weeks, I have spoken at several town halls. I have sat down with many state legislators. These meetings will continue. However, those opposed to this bill are continuing their fight against us. Senators need to hear from their constituents on the importance of real property tax reform. This is where you come in. We need your continued support. We understand that high property taxes have impacted you, and we sympathize with your situation. There are a number of ways you can take action. 1.
