It seems that Commissioner Henares request for the SALNs of the Justices was denied because of the purpose she indicated. Others have gotten copies. “Contrary to what has been reported, the Supreme Court’s justices have not only been complying with the requirements on the SALN, but have made these available upon compliance with the reasonable administrative requirements imposed by the Court,” Te said in a statement. Ten of the 14 organizations in the list disclosed by the high court were media outfits that had sought copies of the justices’ SALNs for 2011, 2012 and 2013 for the purpose of reporting to the public. The three other people in the list were law students from San Beda College, Arellano University and De La Salle University. Te said the justices had been complying with the requirements on the SALN “but have made these available upon compliance with the reasonable administrative requirements imposed by the Court.”
