It takes a special kind of guy to shove elderly women around..... Caltrans and the CHP have repeatedly oppressed Protests against this detructive bypass using threats of violence, intimidation and "shock and awe" strategy using as many as 150 CHP officers in Full SWAT and Riot Gear., equipped with both LETHAL and NON LETHAL rounds. We have personally seen and recorded elderly community members being pushed and harassed by CHP. We have also seen the CHP focus there attacks and arrests towards community members they deem to be "leading the protests". Steve was arrested using these tactics. They opposed his photography and the way the look in the press , so the CHP in retaliation decided to arrest Steve. It was a personal vendetta against him. Retaliation .... plain and simple. The CHP has harassed and threatened other journalists and members of the Media as well in an attempt to squash the bad press they are receiving as a result of their "Macho Male Dominant, Oppressive Attitudes".....
